#BGCHobbs Learning Center
Opened in 2007 at 221 E. Dunnam in Hobbs, the Learning Center is a New Mexico Children Youth and Families Focus 5-star certified child care center, one of only three in Southeastern New Mexico. All teachers are Childcare Development Certified.

Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old are welcome to attend. The child to teacher ratio is:
- Infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months) - 4 to 1
- Walker 1 (1 year olds) - 6 to 1
- Walker 2 (2 year olds) - 8 to 1
- Pre-School (3 - 5 year olds) - 10-1
All classrooms have daily lesson plans. Our teachers prepare a portfolio on every child to show the progress the child is making in the classroom. The portfolio follows the child to the next classroom and so on. The portfolio is shared with parents during quarterly parent/teacher conferences.
We partner with the following community providers to provide on site screenings:
- PMS Medical for monthly well child check-ups.
- MECA Therapies hold 2 screens per year. Therapists work with the children that have delays such as speech, motor development, etc.
- The Lions Club offers annual vision screenings.
- Familia Dental offers 2 annual dental check-ups.
